What the Heck is up with the HORMONES?

I do not seem to be ablet o get a grip on my hormones! It seems like most of the people I know have some issue with hormones. Most women, that is. Most men have a problem with us having hormone problems. Poor guys! I know I am not the only woman who walks around in a daze two weeks out of the month. I know I am not the only person finding myself without the energy or brain function to remember what task I need to undertake muchless the way to go about doing it. It is amazing for two weeks I am a fully functioning, happy woman and then WHAM out of nowhere I want to crawl back under the covers, eat tons of chocolate and peanuts. I cannot satisfy my cravings. I am mean. I am sad. I am tired. I am someone else entirely. Seriously, I would do whatever it takes to get rid of this madness.

As you can see, I like the category "Randomness". This is probably my favorite category as well as my favorite word, favorite type of humor... You get it. Anyway...I digress...

The W-O-O-D Radio Talent Show

This was such fun and such a whipping that I don't know if we will do it again next year, although I cannot imagine missing this experience. It all started with my friend and fellow Wood Elementary cult member, Cara Hackley. See, Cara is a Wood veteran. Having already gone through 6 years of elementary education with her oldest son and 3 years with her middle it was her turn to introduce me to the ropes. She wrangled me into helping her on the Wood Wild West Carnival committee which immediatley introduced me to many other wonderful cult members, all equally as brainwashed as I am. She helped me figure out the various aspects of the PTA, the dynamics of school involvement, and has really showed me how much fun this all is. I hated school and thisreally like living it all over again, except that this time I don't have to hang out with any one that I don't want to and I can leave school whenever I am bored. Oh, and I don't have to sit by the crazy kid!!! Oh, and the bonus, I get to see Ms. McNutt nearly every day. I love that woman!

Anyway, one day after school Cara asked me if Landry would be interested in being in the talent show with her son, Garrison, and a group of other kindergarten boys. I really didn't think Landry would be interested, but he immediately said yes! We spent weeks practicing a routine that Cara and I coreographed. Hee Hee, me coreograph! The boys were so excited and little bit nervous but we had a great time! I will see if I can download the video so you can watch it.

Lordy, Lordy, I have so much to catch up on!

I cannot believe this has taken me so long to blog a dog dog! I just realized that I haven''t been here in forever! That will just tell you what it has been like this year with getting the house built and having my first kindergartener! Cheers to a great year and here's to a much more updated blog.

So much drama has taken place this year I don't even know where to begin! I think I will start with the talent show.  Next blog. Tonight!!!

Fantastical Fun!

First, let me welcome you to my newest adventure (i really do mean adventure and not venture) I don't know how well this will work and how much I will actually blogggggg but let's give her a whirl, shall we?

Over the years I have had the privilege to read many a blog. I love the funny insights to my friends and random people I would like to call friends (if they weren't random people living in other parts of the country blogging away unaware that a warped person like me is reading their every word and laughing and crying with them as if they were Oprah herself).

So, after much thought and personal reflection, I have decided to try a hand at it my own self.

See, I have noted about myself that I am quite funny, insightful, wise beyond my years and generally have a lot to say. Besides all that, I am really a genious at grammer and spellin! I have also always wanted to write a book. I even have a pen name, Mimi Crandall*. (I shall reference above mentioned pen name a little later.) This being said, I must introduce the other producer of this blog (such a strange word for a strange thing).

Mamadrama blogs will also be posted by world famous, hard to get and even harder to get on time......
